Nice Emerald green
I saw the dye turn water blue when rinsing out my brush so it must have a blue undertone. It's darker than apple green of course, but still has a beautiful bright color. I'd say it's an emerald. It really stands out. I'd pair it with cooler colors like blue and purple and apple green would do better with the hot colors like yellow, orange, pink and red. However apple and alpine would look AMAZING together. I actually put this over apple green that was fading out and it covered it well. I'm really happy with these greens. The colors last about 4-5 showers for me, and I dont do anything special. No conditioner, I just shampoo under hot water. Exactly what everyone tends to avoid! So it really really lasts. No Bleed and Lasting Color!
Switched to this from Arctic Fox dark green because that brand would wash out really easily and bleed everywhere. Punky Colour doesn't bleed and while it is semi-permanent you have to work at it to wash this color out! This is my second time purchasing this product and the first time I used it, my hair was still a dark fairly vibrant green even after 5 months of no touch ups. For reference, my hair was yellow-green after 5 months of Arctic Fox. I have thick Asian chin-to-shoulder-length hair and one 100mL container was more than enough for me.
