      INTAKE MANIFOLD

      I struggled for a while to find the intake i needed not so much because of availability but condition. A lot of the manifolds i found were showing signs of corrosion from coolant or were heavily bulked up with parts that are still stuck in place and might risk damaging the manifold trying to remove them. When i saw pictures of this maifold and read that the one pictured may not be the one sent to you i was worried, but after recieving the manifold im impressed. The surfaces are all perfectly flat no water corrosion at all, no parts to spray with penetrating oil and try and break loose. All the threads on the holes are clean. It looks almost like it was never used. These guys are the real deal! Super happy with this shop!

      Corvette 4bbl Intake

      This intake replaced the 2bbl cast iron intake on a 1964 Chevy 283. It is a medium rise aluminum part with flow capacity appropriate for the engine, unlike some after market products. It is also more period correct. Also, it is a Corvette piece... very cool.
