Good looking, light, and fairly accurate. Gains 3 minutes a month. Bought it to replace my 20 odd year old seiko, which finally quit. A great choice, you will like it, too

It was this or the Seiko SKX007. Glad I went Orient II. Looks great, very nice, easy to size bracelet, keeping excellent time so far. Like the hacking, hand winding movement (IMHO a huge advantage over the SKX). Bezel is solid and ratchet, moves well. Handling the crown is no problem. O wonder what this would cost if it was "Swiss Made".

Very happy with this watch. Blue dial on the Mako has a deeper more liquid looking blue. The blue dial on the Mako II has more of a sunburst effect. Still very beautiful. I ended up swapping the blue dial from my broken Mako I to my Mako II. The movement is super accurate. + 6 seconds in 6 days. So only + 1 second a day!!! Unbelievable. Love it!
