Good muilt-drawer toolbox for sorting small tools owned by hobbyists and DIYrs.
I am a DIY who does frequent home and auto repairs. I needed a multi-drawer tool chest that would allow me to quickly survey my tool inventory of pliers, screwdrivers, wrenches and specialty tools by simply opening a drawer. The drawers open easily without jamming, but I wish there were more drawers for the price of the box. It is sturdy enough for hobby-type use, although the metal gage thickness may be insufficient to withstand the rigorous use of those who access tools every day. Ok, not as good as I expected
This was the first time I purchased a tool chest with multiple sliding drawers. Design is good. Drawers are not as good as the red Craftsmen models on display a Lowes. Better than plastic, but I would rather have paid $200 for the higher end model. One of my drawers doesn't close properly. A factory second? Lightweight, damage dosen't affect fit or function. For the price I can live with it being imperfect.
As others have stated it is constructed of a thin gauge steel, and was received with some damaged which I believe occurred prior to boxing, as the the corrugated box and foam packing show no damage. So I would conclude that these are factory seconds. The damage doesn't affect the action of the drawers or the top lid. For what I am using it for it is perfect, in size, and with good features. good for homeowners
it's big...easily fit all my sockets (1/4, 3/8 and 1/2) plus multiple ratchets and extenders etc. etc. Also combination wrenches, spanners, crescents, screwdrivers, needle nose et al with room to spare. This is definitely not heavy duty and should be kept either on a cart or in it's own spot and not carried around. A great buy for the money and it locks. I would recommend this for home use.

Decent value for the money
Product arrived quickly and well packaged. It is made of fairly thin sheet metal, but not using for extreme weight usage. Not happy that the drawer locking mechanism is hit or miss on locking the slider drawers when the top is closed. However, I also didn't SPEND 3x the price. One mans junk.....
Nice box. I have it sitting next to a "real" Craftsman top box. They may look the same,but they are not. Much lighter gauge steel. It just feels cheap. It costs a lot less, but is made in America. If your goal is to save money, this is a great choice. If your plan is for mid, or medium use, great choice.
