Works good so far. Tried a couple tapes and plays well. Packaged well. Came via snail mail but kept my costs down so that was the trade-off. I feEl the item description was accurate and bonus that the seller had a video of the product to showcase it in use. That was the selling point for me. I recomend a remote for anyone buying a vcr. I said I could do without but having to stay right next to the vcr is not ideal while skimming through old videos to see what's on them

Receiver was damaged in shipment. Protruding speaker terminals were smashed inward damaging internal components and rendering it dead. Packaging could have been more robust but seller refunded 2/3 of cost which I considered fair given the remote control was good and possible use for spare parts.
