    South Pacific

    Disc #2 was viewed 1st, outstanding video and audio fidelity, however, periodic wash-out of color in various scenes, no apparent reason. Disc #1 was perfect in all aspects. Haven't seen discs #2 & 3. I'm just amazed at the at the audio and video fidelity from that era.

    There Is Nothing Like "South Pacific!"

    Fox has given us an absolutely pristine, fully immersive 1080p, DTS-MA 5.1 presentation of Rodgers & Hammerstein's 1958 classic. If you've never seen it (think of that!) or are simply looking to upgrade to Blu-ray, this stellar 5-star set is for you. You can thank me later. :^}

    An Oldie but a Goodie. . .

    Everybody should watch this classic masterpiece. The music...I’m Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair, Some Enchanted Evening, Bloody Mary, Happy Talk, etc. the songs are memorable. The main topic addresses racism between Pacific Islanders and white Americans during WWII. Albeit a fictional story line, the hard truths that erupted during a terrible war exist even to this day. Nevertheless, it’s a beautiful musical with outstanding vocals. Prepare to have your heartstrings tugged.
