Quit Complaining
I can't believe all the complaining about this record. "It's too metal" or "it's too punk"; blah, blah, blah. This album is a great retrospective of the early songs of a great band. The fact that they've been re-recorded should mean nothing. To all the anti-big label people: good production does not mean the band is a sellout. I'd love to hear some of my favorite Misfit or Black Flag albums/songs on a big budget. Oh no, there it goes . . . I can hear it already "the energy isn't there" . . . Energy isn't lost with good sound... This album has an awesome sound to it and I would never classify it as selling out. It has many of the great ST songs on it. If you want to pick up the originals, go for it; they are awesome. But this is an incredible start to some incredible albums. Who cares what ... I can't believe all the complaining about this record.
