Much thinner than expected (semi transparent). Pastry mat works ok for cutting cookies and portioning firm dough. Tortilla dough stuck and tore, and was unable to knead bread dough because the mat continually lifted up. I tried wetting the backside of the mat which made it stick to the counter, but it still lifted and bunched up on the first pull. I'll continue using my wooden board for this.
