This tape is dated 11/25/2020. Edges are hardened and consistently getting tear outs. Can't get a solid piece more than a couple inches.. 3M says to use their masking tape withing 18 months. So, no this isn't "New" Messaged seller days ago with zero reply. Judging by their follow up feedback they leave I'm sure they'll comment on this by saying how great they are.... Buy elsewhere.
