About this product

Product Information

Produced as a reference for members of the Antique Collector's Club of Great Britain, this veritable encyclopedia of the 19th-century British glass industry far surpasses previous works dealing with this period. The 19th century saw the production of cameo, rock crystal, cut, and pressed glass, all of great interest to the collectors and historians of today. The wealth of detail about production processes, exhibitions, excise taxes, and other aspects of the glass industry is of particular interest. Hadjamach presents good biographical information on the glassmakers and a section on fakes, forgeries, and reproductions. The illustrations are numerous and excellent. Highly recommended for all decorative arts collections.-- Constance Ashmore Fairchild, Univ. of Illinois Lib., Urbana-Champaign Copyright 1992 Cahners Business Information.

I've been buying and selling on eBay since 1998 - in fact I created a museum exhibition in 1999 with more than half the artifacts from eBay! I used to collect British buses - hence the name here of ...

Item is as described in listing-used-like new. Shipping was exceptable - neither fast or slow. Packaging was exceptable - neither great nor unsatisfactory only due to the fact that item arrived undamaged even though delivered by USPS- they destroy items like this. The item not being damaged wasn’t due to the exceptional packing- due to mercy of USPS. Packaging wasn’t going to keep it from being crushed or bent. I just got lucky USPS delivered it undamaged.
