Good for Price
This adapter arrived looking exactly as pictured which is a good start. Connectors appear to be secure even though the displayport connection is not a locking connection as some other adapters. The price is excellent given that it is an active adapter. I am using it on a Dell OptiPlex 980 which has a DP port (not DP++). A DP port requires an active adapter. It works at 1080p and transfers audio just fine but the OptiPlex supports audio over the DP port. My understanding is some devices to not but the adapter itself will pass it if your device supports it. The one thing that needs to be noted is the adapter sizes the output a bit too larger both horizontally and vertically. This can be fixed by going into the graphics adapter settings and using the Customize Aspect Ratio to reduce ... This adapter arrived looking exactly as pictured which is a good start. Having said that, I have read reviews of other adapters doing the same thing and they cost more, so for the price, this adapter is a good value.

Displayport to HDMI
This is an excellent product if you have the right pc. This cable will pass video on most pc's and video/audio on others. If you are uncertain about your pc, search for your pc model's spec's and read the displayport info. If it doesn't say specifically that audio is passed then it won't. Example HP 8100 Elite will not pass audio, but HP 8200 Elite will.

4K at 30Hz with audio
Works great for me at 4K 30Hz with audio support. That is 3840x2160x30Hz. I use it on an old AMD 6850 card with the pixel dot clock driver patch to run three 4K 30Hz HDMI Seiki TVs. One from HDMI, one from DVI to HDMI, and one from Display Port to HDMI.

I couldn't get my 4k TV to put out maximum resolution (3840x2160) until I bought this cable. It is a good product. My only complaint is that the displayport doesn't lock into the recepticle.
