    A very good camera, it will more than satisfy most people

    This is a very capable and compact digital camera, with an excellent lens and screen display, as well as giving very good quality pictures in low-light situations. I would mention only one drawback -- it does not have a setting to facilitate black-and-white high-contrast photography (as in text copying for OCR, or replacing a copying machine), whereas many other cameras in its class have such a setting. Otherwise, five stars.

    this is a replacement for the tz3 we had for many, many years. But finally died. So I was already impressed with the technology and numerous features of this older camera. Can't beat it for the price.

    We had before but it went bad. At our age it was easier to buy the same camera rather than learning to use something new!

    I also like the fact that it has a wider angle lens than most cameras and can be hooked up to the TV to show photos. Glad I came across it. Larry
