A post-Charles Schulz Christmas special based on his timeless Peanuts characters, I WANT A DOG FOR CHRISTMAS, CHARLIE BROWN shifts the focus to Lucy and Linus' younger brother Rerun. Ignored by his blanket-toting brother and tormented by his uber-bossy sister, Rerun longs for a canine companion to brighten his troubles. But things look bleak for the lonesome tot when his mother refuses to get him a dog for Christmas and Charlie Brown declines to sell Snoopy--until he learns that Snoopy's brother Spike will be coming for a Christmas visit! Then it's time for some holiday mayhem as the rambunctious Spike brews up some mischief and it's up to the unfortunate Rerun to straighten out the mess. I WANT A DOG FOR CHRISTMAS, CHARLIE BROWN is a worthy addition to the animated pantheon of Peanuts classics.

Excellent!
This is, by far, one of THE cutest movies I've ever seen. I love, love, love Charlie Brown and the entire Peanuts Gang, so when I saw this on TV, at Christmastime, I had to have it for my collection. I actually watch it every morning when I'm getting ready for work...and I just laugh, laugh, laugh. Growing up with the (classic) Peanuts cartoons, it's obvious in watching I WANT A DOG FOR CHRISTMAS, CHARLIE BROWN that the voices are different - but they're still good. Charles M. I Want a Dog 4 Christmas Review
I had first watched this movie with my boyfriend and I really loved it. So I hopped on ebay to see if I can find it. I found it and i bought it. When I received it I was so excited. I opened it and I watched it with my family. They really liked it. I made a great purchase!!! The stoy itself was very cute. I really fell in love with the movie, I recommend it to everyone!!! :)

This is one movie that we did not have with Charlie Brown in it. Always like Snoop. Good movie. Christmas movie still the best, also like the halloween movie. The Thanksgiving movie was better than expected.

Great Movie!
My youngest sister is a big fan of the other two Charlie Brown Christmas movies and she and our family fell in love with this movie too! It is now among our "classics" that we will bring out every year at Christmas.
