  • The Bourne Betrayal

Having read the original Bourne novels by Robert Ludlum as well as some of Eric Van Lustbader's books, I looked forward to reading this new offering. The story line (Jason Bourne's missing memories, a potential nuclear terrorist attack on a major USA city, and a plot involving Central Intelligence) is complex and interesting, the background settings are described well and in detail, the terrorists are appropriately nasty and fanatical, but overall the novel reads more like an episode of Jack Bauer in '24' rather than a Jason Bourne book. The novel is at least 100 pages too long; a good editor would have helped here. • Bourne's Betrayal

Review is prior to full reading, but just a few pages into, I find that familar feeling as I read along, the same as I enjoyed the reapeated viewing of the Bourne Movis.. I wont be surprised how enjoyable the book will be. My first Ludlums book ever read, or purchased, Avid Bourne movi fan.. Reading with the hope it will become another movie..

  • Great pace and plot

I have always been a fan of Ludlum and his Bourne series and I'm glad to see the series continue. Lustbader has done Ludlum and the Bourne series justice in this book!

  • The Bourne Betrayal book

Lustbader keeps you interested all through the book. Hard to tell its not Ludlum. I read it all in one setting stopping only for lunch. I will be trying his others.
