If you are replacing a Rule bilge pump with this item, don't expect a quick and easy plug and play experience. All the Rule pumps I've used have a 3/4" id hose attachment. This item requires a 1" id hose. For me to make it work meant buying a piece of 1" hose, two more hose clamps, and a combination of two reducer fittings. Cost more than the pump. No fault with the seller. Everything was as listed. And fast ship. Fault was mine for trying to cheap out. Rule pump I replaced lasted twenty years.
