I had the Tape for quite a few years and then it broke and I thought I would see if it had been put on DVD and happily it had. What a great DVD and it is so much nicer to have it this way instead of a tape. The quality in sound and picture is so much better and I really am enjoying it. To me this concert was Annie Lennox's best concert and performance ever. Great songs all around. I highly recommend this DVD to anyone who emnjoys Annie.
Its good. Just that now she has put more of an artistic spin on these old faves. Now she doesn't seem to take herself as seriously as she did then. Perhaps it is unfair to make this sort of comparison. It is vintage good Lennox.
If Annie could just perform without thinking so much, she would be awesome and angelic. I did enjoy the costumes, they sort of smoothed out Lenno Angst a bit. If Annie Lennox wasn't stamped with the brand Androgeny, she could be a human with a whole lot of talent, but....
Maybe not her best but being a fan it is nice enough to have in my collection.The clarity of the video not that good for 90,s copy.Some really good songs.Some just O/K.Too much filler interviews etc.
Sometimes we are lucky to capture "soul" on DVD--It worked for us. Ms. Annie at her finest and the song we love to hear her sing. I hope we don't have to wait another 6 years!!!
