EA Sports' powerhouse football franchise kicks off on a new field of play in this launch title for the Nintendo DS. While the 3D action seen in the top screen might look and feel familiar to fans of earlier Madden console games, the bottom screen is used for browsing the playbook, calling plays and audibles, manipulating the kicking meter, and other auxiliary activities. The dual screens also allow players to see more of the field at once, with all 22 players displayed on the bottom and the ball-focused action shown on top. Like the 128-bit console versions of Madden Football 2005, this game features the full roster of NFL teams and players, based on the 2004-2005 season, and offers multiple modes of play. Using the handhelds' proprietary wireless technology, two Madden 2005 DS gamers can compete against one another from across the room.

Seller was prompt with shipping. Little surprised to find the DS game had no protection in the package… it was just loose in packing. Wasn’t expecting anything super secure but at least a bit of bubble wrap or something would’ve made me feel better but it luckily still came in great condition. There was a sticker on the back of the cartridge that wasn’t mentioned but luckily peeled off pretty easily. So good experience overall. Very fair price for the item. Thank you.

    Touch Down!!! Buccaneers

    Madden NFL 2005 in my backpack, whats not to love about that. Nintendo DS did a good job with the graphics, on this mini edition. I have years of Madden for my PS2, but I sure like to take this game with me on long flights, camping trips, and playing with the arm chair quarterbacks, at cookouts. I really enjoy the touch screen control on this game. It is always fun for a quick game, and with the wireless play, it is fun to play with my boys. I purchased Madden NFL 06 for the Nintendo DS, on it's release date, since we enjoyed the 2005 edition so much. Highly Recommended for DS sports fans.

    Go Patriots!!!!

    This game is great but i think that the Patriots might have been weighted a little to much, becuase every playoff final ended in the Patriots winning becuase in my mind I think that they were weighted. Other then that, I would say that this game is a definate buy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Madden 2005 for Nintendo DS, Not much better than Gba

    This will be a short review, as the game is not AT ALL different from the GBA version plus the more smoother 3D view and touch screen..If it wasen't for the price, I wouldn't have touched it, and now..I wish I would've just bought the screen protector for the same price..Check out the Gamespot.com review...
