I just got my second one today and I must say I am very happy with these units they are very sleek looking. I'm definitely getting rid of my CDJ 2000 I am happy with these. I think Denon should have introduced them at this price they would have done a lot better in the market initially. but I must agree they do compete with the Pioneer CDJ Nexus 2 but they do not have a CD player they only play SD cards and USB media. that's not considered a drawback these days though I don't know anybody that carries CDs anymore not one person. I love the loop function creates a much better Loop than a CDJ 2000 without any effort. I love the way the colors are split up into 3 frequencies high frequencies are white mid frequencies are green and low frequencies are blue all-in-one waveform it's quite nice. I think Pioneer is getting out of hand right now releasing way too much products way too fast devaluing all of their current products so I hope Denon takes a piece of the pie this time. some good competition might make Pioneer think a little more before they release products. But enough about Pioneer I love these units and I am especially happy in the way I only need two units to layer four tracks together! I like the way they have USB 3 on the back also it is much sturdy or seeming than USB 2 the port is taller and longer seems more stable. it's a plus that these units come with two sets of RCA's, an ethernet cable, a USB 3 cable and an IEC power cord. I'm not sure if the sale is going to last past Christmas but I say go get yourself a set! 5 starsRead full review

I currently own a pair of CDJ 2000. I really like the touchscreen look and feel on this machine feels like a computer or not a CDJ. The jog wheel is a little heavier than a Pioneer but I enjoy that and knowing that it is Aluminum instead of plastic makes me happy. Scratching takes a little bit to get used to but it is just as functional as a CDJ 2000 once you get used to the feeling. I loaded my music into engine Prime on my computer and put it on a thumb drive and I was mixing on one player using the dual-layer option which is super cool! I also bought the x 1800 Prime mixer and combined together they are quite a combo and the sound quality is as good as my studio. I personally think the price drop makes these well worth buying over pioneer. They do feel a little different though and I'm sure a lot of people will batch because they are big babies. I will keep my CDJ 2000 until I am completely happy with these units although I get a feeling they will be gone quick LOL. Read full review

Definitely an Excellent piece of Equipment..!! The Player is Amazing!! Excellent Quality! Well made Components !!! For the Money there is nothing Better than this player.!!! There is an “ industry Standard player “ that most of the dj’s prefer to play with. Even so.. I’m sorry but those CDJ’s are nothing compare to this DENON UNIT !! Specially the Well construction of the unit inside out. I really like to Buy Equipment for the Good Quality .. parts and Electronics..!! CDJ’s are way Expensive!!! For what they Do.!! Fancy toys !! DENON IS JUST THE REAL DEAL !! Respect for all Opinions!!🙏🏻 peace ✌️

When your pioneer equipment finally has issues and it’s time to upgrade, the Denon SC5000 is definitely the move. It’s efficiencies surpasses the CDJ 2000nxs2.
