light weight with some good features
Heats up to operating temperature very quick. Almost too small for a single persons needs. I deep fried some zuccinni and I could only get about four pieces in at a time. It does fit on a counter top nicely but the magnetic power plug is a detracting feature. It fell out a couple of times . It breaks down nicely for cleaning. I am going to try to put ion a permanent power cord.

Functional, a good value, but not for everybody.
I'd been looking for a decent, affordable fryer, and this seemed to fit the bill. I had and have mixed feelings about this item. First, it is used, which I knew from the beginning. When they packed it, they filled the inside of the unit with styrofoam peanuts. The inside of the unit was clean, but the heating element had oil residue on it, making it very sticky. It took a considerable amount of time to clean pieces of styrofoam stuck to the element, and to dig pieces out of the basket. The instructions aren't very clear, but I finally figured it out. The most distressing thing is that the fryer end of the plug isn't secure. It does not plug in like most fryers. Instead, it is held in place by small magnets.
