Fun to fly
This is a light weight drone that is fun to fly if you are not in heavy windy area. It can do flips that look amazing when done right. It took my son some time to get the hang of as he is use to driving RC cars where speed is everything.

Wants to go it's own way
This little quad copter is fun to fly and takes decent video and pictures once you adjust the camera to a usable angle. When there is a wind over 1 to 2 mph don't expect to have much control. I experienced several fly-away situations and finally lost it to a very brushy area where it could not be retrieved. I am going to purchase another but will not recommend it due to the erratic fly-away.

A good Quad but with some Cons
The Cheerwing CW4 is one of the better quads on the cheap end of the scale. PROS: Nice stability. One of the better cameras for a cheap quad. Has generic 1 cell battery spade connector allowing you to use any third party 1 cell battery made for quads like the Syma X5C. Auto takeoff and landing is amazingly smooth. Interesting controller with some feedback. Altitude hold works very well. CONS: Range - The CW4 as tested has about 1/2 the range of a Syma X5C. While it can be a smooth flier about 100 feet is going to be a limit. Due to range limitations, flyaway problems compounded. Fuselage size makes it shifty in winds. Parts - Getting replacement motors and parts for the CW4 is A Lot more difficult than a stripped down X5C. Cost: The CW4 is a decent quad IF bought at a decent ... The Cheerwing CW4 is one of the better quads on the cheap end of the scale. PROS: Nice stability. One of the better cameras for a cheap quad. Pros Nice product for the price. Very easy to control and takes beautiful pictures. Video quality is very nice. It is a good buy for that price and very impressed by the performance so far. Cons: Battery life is very short, shorter than mentioned.
