Boosteroo-still great sound after all these years!
I bought my first Boosteroo-still several years ago and wore it out. I got a few years' use out of it before I replaced it. I thought I lost the replacement during my last move, which is why I bought this one. Now i have an extra one for someone to listen with me or when the other wears out. Can't work on stereo!
I returned the first one got a replacement. Same problem on second - didn't bother with return. I use in-ear monitors for my stage work and this device will not give me signal without partially inserting the jack. Problem solved mostly
Using to boost signal from phone to car stereo aux port. Needed more volume for podcasts and it does the trick. Problem is I have a horrible high pitch sound if my phones data is turned on. I guess I need some sort of RF filter to get rid of it.. So if I need to use certain apps or the browser that uses data, I have to pause the podcast... It is a nuisance that I hope can be corrected. Also the power indicator blue LED is too bright, just like all car accessories that have them.. I have to put black electrical tape on all my electronics due to the glare while driving all night for my business. One more thing is that there is not any sort of hole or loop or whatever to attach the unit to anything so as to keep it in place. I had to use a few strong pieces of duct tape to make a loop on one end of the unit so I could hang it from my cell phone dash mount.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great product, doubles the sound!. I have a good set of earbuds, Monster HD Claritys, they are the best in my opinion I have tried them all. Hooking them up to my phone to listen to music is disappointing as its not very loud. I like to jam in the gym. Well A Boostaroo solved that problem. Matter of fact I hope to be getting another in the mail today. Love this product and for the money you cant beat it. Increased sound for size
Used it on my 04 Harley EGC. Wanted to increase sound when using phone. Definitely did that but doesn’t work well with the amp I currently use. Tried adjusting the gain on the amp but still sound quality wasn’t there. I’m guessing it would be better if your not running any amp at all. Great for your motorcycles speakers !
Since there is a limit to the sound and volume from most MP3 Players ( for safety of hearing ) even with amplified speakers the sound is hard to hear at highway speeds , with a helmet and gear on . The Boostaroo is an amazing piece of electronics
I had one of these for years and loved it but I don't know what happened to it. I am traveling in a few months and I remember using the boostaroo on flights because it increased the volume and had jacks for multiple headphones.
