Very Lightweight
In my sewing, I do a lot of pressing. I needed a dry iron because most steam irons will spurt out steam at times when you don't want it, and I got tired of constantly being burned by those sudden bursts. Dry irons are hard to find and feel very lucky to have found this one. My old iron was dry as well but heavy and this one is like a feather to a brick. I was also in need of an iron that did not have auto shut off. I hate those that do, cause when I sew and press, I needed an iron I could keep on for as long as I needed. This Brentwood is perfect in every way. The only thing I would change about it, is putting an off position on the dial. This one has no off, but I did discover that the minimum setting is the off.
