Shimano Thunnus not only looks good but functions like the true workhorse that was intended. I started out with the 6000 for my 10' rod and liked it so much that I got the 8000 for my 12'. While waiting for the Stripe Bass to come back my way, I've been breaking this guy in on Sand Tigers , Browns and giant rays. Haven't missed a single hook up when switching to the fighting drag; just a turn of the handle and you got 20 lbs. of active drag working for you. Its well worth the few extra bucks;especially, if you're an all day fisherman and not out for a couple hours.

I only got to use this once so far and hooked a snag but the quality is superb. Smooth and light weight. A little pricy but if you are hooked on using spinning reels like me then its worth it to have a good reel like this to land those bigger fish.
