    Excellent value in a USA-made knife!

    My price range was $45-$65. So far, the Kershaw Blur has come the closest to meeting my requirements for everyday carry. It is lightweight for having aluminum handles, thin and compact, comfortably shaped with rubber inserts for a good grip closed and open. One-handed open and close was important to me so the Kershaw Speedsafe spring assist feature worked perfectly. I prefer the Kershaw Blur over both of the other knives I bought recently: a USA-made Gerber Edict, unassisted lockback with a tanto blade, but a too-bulky handle and requiring a strong wrist flick to open one-handed; and a SOG Trident Elite which I believe has a Japan-made serrated blade which I otherwise like. but with large, uncomfortable-in-the-hand squared-edge handles with a seatbelt cutter notch I find unnecessary ...

    I’ve carried this knife daily for 15+ years and it has never let me down. Kershaw offers the best product support of any company I’ve ever dealt with. Free blade sharpening. Free replacement parts. For life. No questions asked or paperwork required. Lost my last one to airport security and after a lot of research into other options, couldn’t find one that stood up to the Tactical Blur. So I replaced it w a brand new one. Couldn’t be happier ab that decision. The straight edge of the Tanto blade makes it perfect for scraping flat surfaces. The partial serration is great for stripping wires and all kinds of stuff.     Kershaw “Blur” spring assisted pocket knife.

    This is a Fantastic knife for everyday carry. The spring assisted opening makes one handed opening a breeze. This is a great everyday knife with a great multi purpose blade. When I’m out working, I wouldn’t be caught without it.

    Third one I buy

    These are extremely sharp but you have to be very careful as the tip breaks extremely easy. I took 2 with me to Afghanistan and both tips broke trying to open up MRE boxes etc. I still have them a souvenirs but I'm ordering my third one just because I love how sharp they are. Not bad for the 35-45 dollar price range
