Excellent Replacement!
I broke my old Craftsman wash out & purchased this one to replace it. Kit comes with a mount bolt but I used the old one of the mower. The deck was threaded for the factory bolt which is a different thread from the one in this kit & no way to get it work without drilling out the old one. The easy way out- use the old bolt, if you can. Instructions with this kit tells how to do install it. Unit works like a charm, now washing dirt & grass away from deck. Don't raise your deck too high, you will break the wash out fitting. That's what happened to me. Now looking for a 90 degree water hose adapter to solve this issue.I broke my old Craftsman wash out & purchased this one to replace it. Fair price but doesn't work properly
I was happy to receive the replacement deck wash kit port and coupler for my Husqvarna riding mower as the one that came with the mower broke when I had trouble removing the coupler and broke the port. I installed the new deck wash kit and coupler, cut the grass and connected the hose to the coupler, turned on the water and water came out at the base of the coupler. I was very disappointed, to say the least. I did press the coupler down until I heard the click that it was set properly., The original deck wash kit that was on the mower (new) when I bought it was plastic and worked really great and did not leak water. The port on the Husqvarna replacement deck kit is metal. Very disappointed!!! No more getting under it to clean the mower deck
Needed something to wash under the deck of our Husqvarna 48" deck. This is awesome!!!! The deck already had the hole for it. Now all we have to do is attach the hose and turn the hose on. Before, my husband would raise the front of the lawn mower up using the floor jack, then getting down on the ground and SCRAPING the gunk out with a large putty knife. This is way quicker and a lot safer. Never did trust a floor jack.Needed something to wash under the deck of our Husqvarna 48" deck. This is awesome!!!! The deck already had the hole for it. Now all we have to do is attach the hose and turn the hose on. Before, my husband would raise the front of the lawn mower up using the floor jack, then getting down on the ground and SCRAPING the gunk out with a large putty knife.
