    Kool stops are the best pads for the $ excellent stopping power and good wear-in.

    Cheap pads that blow the competition out of the water when it comes to durable stopping power for the dollar. Clarks and (some) Shimanos are nice, discs are too, but those require bigger budgets, and if you're short on cash, kool stops are what you're getting 👍👍👍 if you bought the cheap caliper brake set, pads like these are a MUST

    I wanted to like this product...

    ...but it's a little squeeky, just like many aftermarket pads. I suppose I expected a silent running, superior product. Maybe they will bed properly with some use.

    high end brake pads - for wet weather

    Kool stop's a standard in bicycle brake pads. Replacing worn out kool stops. Red denotes a "grabby" compound, so get used to it, if it's replacing black rubber.

    Great but long thread

    I ride bmx and the threads stick out a bit on my frame so I ended up cutting it down. overall this color is soft and perfect. I’ve always used the green color which is a bit stiffer.
