I am having some trouble with this machine. I can only sew two thin layers of leather together, it is like the hand wheel is stuck or slipping. I have tried to sew the test leather that came with and there is no way the needle can penetrate that fabric. There is also some paint chipping on the platform where it meets the motor case arm. Looks cosmetic or was it dropped? And have tried multiple types of threads, but it keeps tearing off. Not sure what is going on as I have adjusted the tension.

    Good value for an industrial sewing machine

    This machine seems to sew as good or better than my old industrial machine. I like the portability of this machine, it give me the ability to work is different places. I also like the ability to Use the zig zag feature that allows me to easily switch from straight stitch to any length of zig zag stitch. I’m am disappointed in the small size of the bobbin, it’s much smaller than the bobbins in my other industrial machines.

    Love it

    Its a beast! Already made a windshield cover for my Jeep when pulling behind the RV. Goes through several sheets of vinyl no problem. This will sew leather and jeans no problem. Need smaller thread to do smaller work. Plenty of documentation to help threading and bobbin loading. Youtube videos were helpful also. Comes with several bobbins, a small tool, thread stack.

    Easy to use and works great

    I'm just getting started with sewing vinyl boat seats, and after fighting with an old sewing machine for a few months, I decided to try this one. I'm sure glad I did. It's so much easier to use and really smooth compared to the antique.
