    Simple basic cleaning kitl

    The case is kind of cheap and dont always want to stay closed I wish the thin plastic holder stayed inside the box, If I pull say a box out it pulls the hole thing out. I can always superglue it in though. The gun oil closed all the way seems to slowly drip out and there was oil around the cap area and under the bottle. BUT everything was there that was needed works great. The gun oil seems to evaporate or something though, I field stripped my pistol oiled it up and like 5 days later took it apart again and all the oiled parts where pretty dry again. If this kit came with gun grease it would be awesome. This is a popular kit and some places charge a bit more for the same thing. Yes there was some slightly negative stuff here but would gladly but another one if needed. As long as you dont ...

    I've seen better

    If I wanted a good cleaning kit I should have searched more extensively. Hopps is am excellent product, it's what it came in that got me sick. This was my very first cleaning kit, for my very first firearm, and I'm sorry I purchased it. That fancy plastic case was a joke. It should have come in a zippered canvas case for the price I paid for it. All I can say is; shop around, and save your money.

    Nice little kit

    Great value for the buck. Bought separately the contents would cost almost double. The case is really cheaply made and it would be great if the rod could be broken down in two pieces but it does the job and for the price you really can't beat it. I bought it just to clean my 9mm after range time and it fits the bill.

    Has everything you need, except a decent case.

    Great product for your money EXCEPT the case it comes in. I read other reviews saying the case is flimsy and chose to buy it anyway for the value of what you get inside. After purchasing, I agree that what you get inside is a good value for the price I paid (14 something) but I'd be willing to pay more for a case that I can't easily snap in half. It is very flimsy and I'm certain the open close tabs will break off shortly and make it unusable anyway. I'll just be storing it in a tuperware or something at that time.

    Good tools BUT

    Everything in the kit is as promised and works like a charm. The box, however, is the cheapest junk you can find.the latches broke off the first time I opened it, and it is flimsy and useless. I'd have spent a few more bucks and gotten the wooden boxed version that has more tools had I known this was so cheap.
