  • Insightful for Civilians Who Don't Understand

I found this book to be very grounded and authentic. Chris Kyle takes us somewhere none of want to go-but somebody has to do it. Introspective to the dynamics of life and death teamwork and absolute trust. I wish more people could read this and see the kind of people who protect us regardless of the politics and hyperbole that is fed to the people of this country. Absolute best- Semper Fidelis

  • Awesome Book I read it for hours, action packed, makes a great gift, definitely a must have for your Library Collection

I really enjoyed reading this book definitely one of my top favorites to add to my library collection. It's a beautiful tribute to Chris Kyle as it contains his book American Sniper and has a memorial section with pictures and personal stories from his family, neighbors & friends to give the reader more depth as to how people perceived and knew Chris personally. I'm going to be honest I did cry a few times while reading this book. This book mentions the 4 Tours of Iraq Chris served. The struggles and sacrifices he made. What is was like to be there in Iraq, how the day was like, the surroundings, what happened day and night. Those people that met him or knew him are truly blessed to meet a wonderful humble & genuine person with a heart of gold. No matter how many hours it took at his book signings he made sure every single person attending got an autograph, picture & handshake... And also the compassionate random acts of kindness he did in his neighborhood.

  • Great Read!

This is a very well written and details of a great American SEAL. It is easy to read and gets into the details of a great American military hero. It also sheds light on some of the relationships of the USA and situation with us in the Middle East, especially Iraq. This book came to me in great condition.

  • The Best of the Best

Despite Jesse Ventura’s attacks, this is an amazing book for those who want to see through the eyes of a SEAL, a Sniper, one of our Veterans, all of whom deserve respect. This edition has more to it than the original. It came in perfect condition and I was shocked. The seller who sold it is 10*/5*. He did a great job, sold it very cheap. I recommend this to anyone.

  • book about a sniper

A fascinating glimpse into the intense deployments Chris Kyle and many Special Forces warriors endure. I like how in some places Taya writes her side of the story.(From the home-front) I feel it helps a reader to understand how the wives and family are integral to keeping their guys rolling.

I’m so thankful to have this book. I have avoided reading it for many years because I miss Chris and knew the people would eventually find out that me and Chris are a lot alike.

  • Saw the Movie!

But this may be better as its more in depth. The movie gives you the glossed over edition.. this is more like talking one on one about how it really was and the conditions experienced. More like what some of us experienced in Vietnam, just different conditions.
