One of (if not THE) best of the "Next Generations" casted Star Trek movies. This movie has a good mix of various Star Trek elements: Time Travel, the Borg, space walks, rockets (per-Enterprise spaceships), hand-to-hand combat, and Data's view of humanity. In brief, the Enterprise and the Federation engage in a massive battle with the Borg. Picard uses his experience (as a former Borg) to seemingly sway the battle. But then the Borg queen escapes and heads back in time. If she (and her few followers) can alter Earth's history, the Federation won't exist (and will, in fact, become Borg instead). The Enterprise must follow and... Well, I don't want to spoil it for you. But they do have to deal with the past (our future), and meet some people who - with good and bad parts - are solid, interesting characters. Jean-Luc has to deal with his own feelings of former Borg battling new Borg. And the Borg queen takes a specific interest in Data, tempting him with humanity. This is a definite "must-see." I would have chosen a 4.5 for the ranking. But, having to decide between a 4 and a 5, it gets the higher score. If for no other reason than Data's statement: "Zero point six eight seconds, sir. For an android, that is nearly an eternity."Read full review
Enjoyed this movie, as all in the Star Trek series.

I am a huge Star Trek fan and this movie didn't disappoint me like Generations. The Borg make a very nice formidable foe for the inhabitants of the Enterprise. Lots of fun action.
