    Great Compact Flash

    The Canon 277T is a compact, attractive and highly functional flash and works with my Canon G II film camera very well. It has good coverage and is adjustable to fit most lighting conditions. It is a three pin system and will fit many types of hot shoe cameras. Excellent flash, particularly for the price.

    A very "smart," easy to use flash for the Canon T70 and similar cameras.

    This flash is quite neat - in "program" mode it sends out a quick infra-red flash when you push the shutter button down half way (on the Canon T70 and similar Canon cameras). This flash determines the subject distance and reflectivity, so the flash automatically sets the f-stop appropriate for the subject and distance. On the T70 this determined f-stop shows up in the viewfinder, as well as being illuminated on the flash back plate, and the flash sends the f-stop chosen to the camera so the lens is automatically adjusted to the proper setting. Alternatively, in "F no. set" mode, the user can choose what f-stop to use (by cycling through your choice F2.8 to F22 with a push button) and then the flash automatically adjusts the flash exposure to suite that f-stop (with the T70 this f-stop ...
