    The police for days........!

    This pedal has a sound that is instantly recognizable! Andy Summers in the late 70's and early 80's. Your can also get a lot of other 80's sounds. Think Siouxsie and the Banshees, Isreal. If these are the type of sounds you are looking for i highly recommend picking one up!

    its good

    i bought this and then sent it to its creator howard davis it had a dead circut in the range section it cost me a lot more to repair it now it works good but not as good as the one it replaced i had it moded by howard. be carefull when buying one just because it works does not mean part of it works. big diffrence from when i got it and after howard repaired it.

    Hurry Before They're Gone!

    Forget what you think know about flanging. This has Andy Summers, Alex Lifeson, and David Gilmour written all over it. The Deluxe Electric Mistress is one of the last few effects that Electro Harmonix is still making in the Big Box chassis. You'd better scoop them up while you can because almost everything that EHX has put into the new "XO" boxes is either digital/steril, dumbed down to 9v, or lacks any of the fatness and warmth of EHX's pedals from yesteryear. They are jumping on the bandwagon of the typical "guitar center cool kid" crowd, and distancing themselves away from the stuff that made them and many artists unique, unforgettable, classic, and legendary...Kind of like this pedal. I suggest getting one of these now because eventually EHX will tear it ...

    delux electric mistress

    this pedal can get some great sounds although it is very wobbly even with the range all the way down, the filter matrix gets some cool chimey sounds depending on how you dial it in. this thing also can sound kind of harsh and shrill if you dont dial it in right. now that i have owned this pedal for a while i would like to add that this thing is a tone sucker big time. volume goes down very noticably when the effect is enguaged and i have heard this is a very common problem for this pedal. dont get me wrong this pedal has a great sound, but i think i would get the newer version if i had a choice. i have seen there are mods available to correct the problem witch i will probly do but if you are considering buying this pedal i would say buy the newer and save yourself a headache.
