    Animated adventures of asterix

    Saw most of these films as a child and are as good if not better than I remember. Asterix in Britain was one of my favourites and the characters are brought to life on film as opposed to the timeless comic book adventures of asterix and obelix the animation is good and jumps forward rapidly from the 1967 asterix the gaul.

    French inspired fun

    Nice change from insipid children's animation tales with a (very loose!) foothold in history to give it a twist -- accents are a bit grating at times but kids don't care and storylines original and entertaining . There is an Asterix theme park outside Paris to rival Disney if you really get in the zone!
