Worked fine. Original Microsoft brand headset broke on my son's system. Bought this as a replacement. Works as well as the original. Looks to be a little "cheaper" but he has used for several weeks and has had no complaints so far. And the price was right. Would recommend buying even as a backup if yours is working.
The wired Microsoft Xbox 360 headset is a quality piece for it's relatively low price. The pros include good sound input/output, adjustable mic and head strap, and lightweight design. The cons for this item are that it is a bit on the fragile side, and the pads over the mic and the earpiece aren't secured very well. And the connection point between the headset and the controller isn't solid and tends to disconnect if the cord is stretched. I, myself, have gone through two of these so far due to breakage. But if care is taken not to drop or step on it, it should last you a long time.
I recieved these headphones quickly. I do like them, actually better than the ones that actually came with the XBOX 360. However, the volume does not go up loud enough for me. When using the headphones I have to mute my TV or I can not hear the other person. And even after no TV sound I often have to have others talk louder so that I can hear them. Overall this was a good buy in my opinion, for sure cost less than buying in the store.

The wireless headset costs around $50, which IMHO is to much. This is a good choice not only because its inexpensive, its also a fine headset. It stays in place, has good sound quality and most importantly your friends can here you loud and clear as you taunt 'em and talk smack!
