    Great Nostalgic Game Compilation

Great nostalgia game piece. I bought it for the classic game: Bosconian. Great , just like I remember. It has a good menu as well as online gaming feature as well.

  • Top critical review

Ive decided to keep It. even though it has that one flaw to it .your source was the 3rd NAMCO MUSEUM replacement

the disc dosent quite sustain the screen at first.using an X BOX 360 Ive played 5 games on it. and each time the screen went blank . so all 5 times I started over then it played till games end and continued.

  • Fun to Play But....

The Namco Museum Virtual Arcade for Xbox 360 is a lot of fun to play but there is one major issue for me. The movements of the game need to be made with the left joystick or the middle toggle switch. Either way you have to use your left hand to move (and in the shooting games, your right hand to fire). Being a righty, when I used to play these games way back in the arcades, I would use my right hand to control the movements. This change in hands makes for a tough time to get a good score. Still it is fun to re-live those times with these old games. If you want to go for some really high score like those good old days, find one of these real games at bowling alley, bar or one of the few arcades that seem to be left these days.

  • Lots of Fun

This game comes with lots of games. Classic games such as Pac - Man, Ms. Pac - Man, Galaga, Dig Dug, Pole Position, and the surprise find, Mappy. It also has various arrangements of the classic games as well. I would have given 5 stars but the games are nowhere like the games at the arcade. The old Namco Museum for PS 2 was awesome and worked exactly like the arcade games. Plus the PS 2 version's joystick worked very good. We have the most expensive XBox and the joystick and pads don't work very good except when playing Mappy and Galaga. Plus the ghosts on Pac Man and Ms. Pac Man are way faster that you are. Just so happens I really wanted it for Mappy and Galaga. I have this game for WII and it is just as bad. I will get it for PS 3 to compare how all the games perform for ...

  • A simple comment...

If you haven't yet downloaded Pac-Man C.E., Galaga Legions, Dig Dug or some of the other top-notch Namco XBLA offerings, Namco Museum Virtual Arcade is well worth the budget price tag. All the company’s XBLA games are here at a discount, and most are worth dealing with the awkward menu system. There are a few other classic games worth having here too, but many of the best have already been released in past compilations. If you already have these XBLA games or have access to Xbox Live, skip this one, though. The retro games along aren't worth the purchase.
