Product Information

Hard-working Sims have a chance to break away from the office in The Sims 2: Bon Voyage. Following the Seasons expansion for The Sims 2, Bon Voyage allows players to escape the winter weather as they work to achieve goals and become experienced travelers. Gamers can select from touring an Asian landscape, camping in the mountains, or spending time on the beach in a tropical location. Players getting ready for vacation can call up their travel agent and book either a pricier hotel or more budget-friendly accommodation for their family. Rich Sims can skip the agent and just purchase a house in their vacation spot of choice. Once the trip begins, characters can climb ancient ruins, participate in The Lumberjack Games, and make friends with fire dancers (or Bigfoot!) to learn new social interactions and unlock new achievements. Each of the skills players learn can be shared with friends back home. Additionally, searching each area can reveal rare jewelry and artifacts which can be used to decorate the home or offered as presents.

    Wonderful Title, may get a tad boring after a while tho

    The Sims 2 Bon Voyage is a perfect addition to your Sims collection. I felt as though my sims were staying in too much so I decided to purchase this product. It has everything that a real person would have on a trip, such as booking plane tickets, hotels, travel trinkets and tours. There are three types of trips the game offers initially. There is Twikkii Island, which has tropical themes with beaches, ancient ruins and pirate ships. Takemizu Village is the Asian themed vacation with Tea, Zen gardens and Ninjas! Finally, there is Three Lakes, a campground/ hotel area in the Mountains, with Flapjacks and BIG FOOT. The Pros of the game is the beaches, the sims doing something outside the neighborhood and the secret locations. The cons is that it may get boring after a while visiting the same ...

    Sims 2 Bon Voyage

    Looking to add some adventure into the lives of your sims? Tired of the daily routine of work, child care, eat and sleep? Then this is the expansion pack you and I have been waiting for. This expansion pack has so many things to explore and do that it is hard to lump it all into one review. Sims can go on vacation and gather trip mementos and learn new skills. While on vacation their are new hotels for your sim to stay at and in Buy Mode their are great new things that your sims can use in their own homes. I love the giant pirate ship that can be placed outdoors, with a fun level of 10 this ship will boost any sad sims day in a matter of minutes. The new explorer clothes are ok but a good thought for the world traveler.

    Time for Your Sims to Take A Vacation.

    Better have more hard drive space. The disk takes over as the one you need to play the sims 2. I don't understand why this is. No matter. I have every pack and expansion for this series. One word from the wise. BACKUP, BACKUP your save Sims stuff. I suggest like I did and put the save backup on a 4GB thump drive stick but that filling up and may need a 8 GB. I have the game & pack installed on two PC twice the fun. My daughter is the ruler of this game and the pack bratz of her friends are alway over creating boyfriends and barbie like dolls. She created two whole new towns and about three dozens strange families. Get learning tool. Adults should not worry about the kids getting loss in these games.This expansion get you on a island and you could be serving Mango punch. You need money ...

    What I expected

    The game is a fun addiction to the sims game. It opens up more possibilities and is fun. Like all expansions it gets familiar and old after a few plays but it’s nice to have something new for your sims to do.
