    Since I bought, and used one, have not bought any other type sling for rifle or shotgun.

    I bought a slimline Claw some years ago and immediately liked it. It is lightweight, used on a shot gun for wing shooting or for turkeys, there is not a noticeable 'pendulum' effect to disrupt target acquisition. Used with a rifle, it is lightweight and carries a rifle well. The quick disconnect sling swivels are very nice too. This sling works as advertised, it grips the shoulder well, rain, or shine or snow, or what ever. It is simple in design and adjustment. Most of my rifles and shotguns are synthetic stocks and some are stainless steel so if out in rain or snow in Canada or where ever for birds or moose, or what ever, I do not worry about weather problems with my guns. This is probably the sixth Claw slimline sling I have bought and it is going on my Benelli SBE 3 shotgun. Only ...

    Been using Quake Ind. slings for many years, they work perfectly for me. I sometimes do change the swivels to match my rifles. They're comfortable and really grip. USA made too!

    You can wear a rubber jacket covered in grease and the quake claw still won’t slip. If you get one you’ll see what I mean.
