Don’t be like me and go cheap and regret it. This one has what you want. Scan, automatic squelch control cuts way down in the static. Just be sure to buy the type of power plug you want to use. Doesn’t have one. No complaints

Small radio BIG features
I’m a cb fanatic.. had them all and still have a few tuned in oldies.But none of them currently fit in my Jeep JK.. I tried the cobra 75... honestly it was junk..couldn’t modify it for voice clarity.. I sounded low when I would key up..Now to the President Bill..it’s small and compact about the size of an iPhone 6plus ..I have it mounted between the drivers seat and the counsel with and external speaker..excellent and perfect fit..features include roger beep weather station auto squelch..channel buttons on the mic..and a built in usb charger..range and clarity is great for this compact radio...and some of my 4 wheeler friends already order some.. Great radio best bang for the buck..and with some extra mods you’ll be able to hang with the best... I highly recommended this radio great radio ... A quality radio for a great price, small but has many features. This radio is very user friendly, perfect for a beginner or veteran operator. This radio also fits in small places where room is a concern. I was suprised at the clarity and distance i was able to transmit and receive(im sure skipping helped) but nice unit..ty

The better buy is the Bill II.
Buy the Bill II, so you get the FM band in addition to the AM channels. The Bill FCC is great if you only want AM. You can find them for $85, while the Bill II is $119. It is an amazingly small and well built. I have both, but use the Bill II.
