    The item was expensive for a used toy but it was the cheapest available so I can’t complain. It was used but in good condition so no problem there. It was as described. Shipping was a lot and I wish it was free but again that’s just how things works online. My daughter loved it and I appreciate the packaging because the item was protected from receiving any potential tears. When she saw the box she knew it was for her and asked if she could open it. She is deaf so she uses ASL. Thank you though!

    Good Value

    I'm happy with the calculator. There may be a bit of an issue related to sensitivity of some keys needing to be pressed harder than normal. While programming two functions, I had to repeat some commands due to keys not responding to normal pressure.

    The calculator arrived with corroded batteries and battery acid all over the battery compartment. It was for my granddaughter, so she is who opened it and got battery acid all over her hands. She cleaned it out as best as she could, and took it to school to use in her math class. I haven't heard from her yet to know if it worked correctly, if not I will be returning it for a full refund.

    The TI-83 has hit the 'sweet spot'

    The TI-83 (and its faster version, the TI-84) came out in 1996. This is one of the original TI-83's. And, Texas Instruments has hit the 'sweet spot' with this calculator. It has never been seriously improved by any of TI's newer models. This particular auction calculator is in great shape & works just as well as the day it was made.
