    I am a Air Quality Certified Tech and own a 2700.00 laser partical counter These are Hospital Grade and Certified

    As a mold Tech, I needed to be able to refer my clients a superior Air purifier, These are rated on SYSTEM EFFICIENCY , not just filter efficiency as are most hoshold units, Since i did indoor air quality testing i invested i a laser partical counter and would test the unit each and every time i placed a unit in a home , there could be 500,000 particals per liter of air that were 3 micron or larger and the output vent would indicate that 0 to 400 ppl were exiting the vent, exceeding 99.9 percent system efficiency, yes the replacement filters are very pricey , but unless you live in a dust bowl you will not be replacing them for a couple of years . there is a prefilter on the bottom i reconmend vacuming them weekly or monthy depending on the envrioment , for optimal life of filter, you dont ...

    No UV light for a reason!

    IQAir does not use UV lights in their systems for two four very important reasons. 1. UV lights create Ozone. Ozone is a lung irritant and it does not make sense to have a product that cleans the air create a lung irritant. 2. IQAir's HyperHEPA filter trap particulates down to 0.003 microns with efficiency greater than 99.5%. The smallest virus is about 0.005 microns, so they never leave the air purifier. 3. UV light exposure to kill airborne pathogens like Bacteria and Viruses requires about 30 seconds of exposure. The air passing through an air purifier only sees about 1 second of exposure. The only purpose of UV light would be to kill those pathogens trapped in the filter, but with a HEPA filter, they are trapped and should not be an issue with any quality HEPA filter. 4. Long ...

    Worth every cent!

    This is a high end air purifier for an incredible price. I have been using for over a year now. It can be a bit noisy on setting 5 or 6 but most times you don't need it on this. Would definitely recommend purchasing for this supplier. Came by mail FAST!
