did not work-tried in 2 countries
I purchased this converter for my trip (June 2019) to Netherlands & Belgium. I only needed it for my hair straightener. I used it in the Netherlands 1st. The light was blinking the entire time I used it & the straightener never fully heated up making it difficult to do my hair. I tried several wall outlets in case that was the problem but it did not work anywhere. It was useless. Great Converter Overall
This travel converter is great to travel with if you take a laptop or use a CPAP. Both usually use around 90 watts and can be used at the same time. Just check your wattage. The one downfall I had was that it does not work in Capri, Italy which uses the small two prong adapter that is not provided, only the large two prong adapter. I was lucky to have the small two prong adapter with me that came with a smaller converter I had with me for cell phone charging. I just used it and was able to charge the cell phone during the daytime when my wife was not using the CPAP. This converter really comes in handy when you are traveling with a computer or CPAP. The one item you really need for US electrical overseas
I just returned from Europe and have to say that this adapter was great. It handled everything. In Italy, they didn't have many outlets, so this bad boy handled 2 iPads, 2 iPhones, and my other 2 US electrical items. No problems at all, and it all fits neatly back into the box. The box is small and easy to pack. Now I can leave the chargers behind and just take the cables. Poor quality
At least one of the 110 outlets fluctuates so bad it is unusable. It would be a good value if it worked properly. My phone charger plugged into one of the 110 outlets will not charge the phone. USB 2.1 A outlets work good for charging.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
