    Good little DVD Player but a little tricky to play PAL DVDs

    Got this for $15. It does play DVDs reasonably well. However, it said in the description that it will play NTSC/PAL. It plays the NTSC well but when it came to the PAL (British) DVD it wouldn't play saying "Wrong Region". Even when I pressed the button to play PAL it still wouldn't play. I found out through the Internet that you have to fiddle with the remote to get it to work. Pressing 9999 quickly and pressing 0 had it playing the PAL DVD. Obviously a design glitch but I'm happy that it's working.

    GARBAGE!

    It worked for for 31 days, then slowly began to mess up in every way. By the time it was a month and a half old it ceased to work almost entirely!!! I only wanted a remote, so I almost got my money's worth since the remote was more than half the cost of both, but even the old one will only play half of some disks, won't even acknowledge more than half of my disks, and will play some fine. Age of production, or time in my collection seems irrelevant, but it is a complete piece of garbage, and I would recommend that nobody ever but one from anyone!

    Very nice dvd player with one exception

    This player has been playing dvds and cds beautifully with exception to homemade dvds. Freezes constantly in the beginning and either freezes consistently so you can't stand it, or the freezing lets up in the beginning and then the rest of the dvd plays fine. It's crazy. I have never had any player to behave this way over homemade dvds before.

    We Really love the DVD Player. Unit is a nice size, not to big, and has all the functions you will ever need. Easy to use and great picture and sound. Company shipped very fast also. Thank you it is perfect! Highly recommended!

    Works ok, but the remote was broken when I got it.

    I like the fact that this machine is small and doesn't take up much space. However, I lowered my rating because the remote was broken when I received it. The power button has apparently been used so much that it has actually sunken into the remote and can't be used.
