Star Wars: Demolition is created by the same team that brought PlayStation owners Vigilante 8 and its sequel. The dangerous sport of Podracing has been outlawed by the Empire, but Jabba the Hutt has decided to devise an even more dangerous contest in order to provide entertainment, and more importantly, to gain a profit. Combatants from across the galaxy compete in familiar Star Wars locations, such as Tatooine, Hoth, Dagobah, Naboo and Cloud City.<br><br>Players will immediately notice familiar and playable Star Wars characters from both trilogies such as Wookies, Jawas, Boba Fett and Aurra Sing, as well as popular Star Wars vehicles including AT-STs, Snowspeeders, Swoops, Skiffs and Podracers. There are a total of six initial playable characters and at least six more that can be unlocked by accomplishing certain goals in the game.<br><br>Built around the Vigilante 8 engine, Star Wars Demolition allows gamers to take control of their favorite characters and vehicles and unleash destruction upon computer-controlled opponents or friends. Players compete in enclosed arenas and collect weapons scattered throughout the arena, including photon torpedoes, thermal detonators, and tractor beams. Whether you're dueling a single opponent or going up against several, the object is to be the last vehicle left in arena.

Star Wars Demolition
Star Wars Demolition is a great single or dual player game. With great graphics and gameplay grounded in the Star Wars universe, it is a thoroughly enjoyable and challenging game. The game is suitable for teens and still interesting and more than enjoyable for the Star Wars geek hiding in many of us 30-40 somethings. There are multiple levels and modes of gameplay. My favorite is working in team mode to beat up on the Republic baddies with another player. There are also opportunities to pilot all the different classic crafts from the Star Wars franchise, ranging from Land Speeders to Battle Tanks, and even a option to pilot a jet pack and disintegrator pistol ala Bobba Fette. The range of vehicles and weapons keep you constantly interested and motivated to achieve the next level and ... Star Wars Demolition is a great single or dual player game. With great graphics and gameplay grounded in the Star Wars universe, it is a thoroughly enjoyable and challenging game. ok game just dont pay alot
This game uses Star Wars unvierse but really has nothing to do with the plot. You have demolition derbies where you are trying to win money at different venues. There are power up on the battle field and many different vehicle to choose from. The graphics are great and the game runs smoothly but just don't pay alot for the game.
