    Decent hitch. Looks great. Installation not too much of a pain.

    Solid hitch for the 2018 Crosstrek. This hitch is aesthetically superior to the Draw-Tite alternative, since the main structural components of the Curt actually sit up behind the rear bumper. The only part that is visibility is the receiver. The Draw-Tite, by comparison, has virtually the entire primary crossbar down below the bumper level, which is kind of unsightly. The trade-off for the superior aesthetics is that the Curt hitch has inferior load characteristics, i.e. the lower tongue weight (350 lbs vs. I think 500 for the Draw-Tite), but since you won't likely be using a Crosstrek to do any heavy-duty towing this shouldn't be an issue. Installation is not bad, although you have to thread some fish wires through the frame rails. Takes about 45 minutes or so total.
