    Great phone but...

    I've been evaluating two lower level GSM Samsung Tracfones within the last few months, the SGH S125G and the older T105G. Specifically, I don't want/need a browser or anything fancy. The overall objective has been to reduce the monthly charges for relatively few phone calls and plain/short text messages. I also want a very light phone because of the way I carry. I've tried both the Samsung models with the T5 and C4 SIMs, so the summaries below "average" across the major providers. Design/Weight: The SGH S125G and T105 differ significantly in both "clunkiness" and weight. The S125G has square edges, a "painted" silver back cover, the back cover does not latch securely and falls off routinely, and it has a heavier feel. All this "clunkiness", though, makes it easier to do one handed work ...

    Would recommend this item to anyone needing a basic cell phone.

    This is an excellent, affordable, and admittedly basic phone. It is easy to use, sensibly laid out, and very good as a backup device for the car or work. Reception is acceptable and the keypad is very good. It also features a quick check of the time and missed calls and text messages that does not use much battery capacity. A super bargain in the eight to ten dollar range.....

    GREAT CHEAP PHONE to buy and CHEAPER PREPAID minutes!

    The phone has all of the basics. Caller ID, Voice Mail, Phone Lock, Speaker phone, and Text messaging. Web is not available. The text messaging lets you use the old ABC or the T9 (phone guesses what you are typing). The phone has a variety of reasons to buy it. 1. The accessories. (home charger, car charger, phone case w/ clip, hands free microphone, and DOUBLE MINUTES!!)2.Backup battery. 3.Backup phone 4. Replacement phone 5. CHEAPER MINUTES!!! NOTE: NEVER NEVER NEVER pay retail for a phone card, pay sales tax, and enter a card code WITHOUT a PROMO code!!! (Not sure if I can list how, but email me and I will send you the info.) I just paid $18.99 for a $20.00 card. I got not 60 minutes, not 120 minutes, but 230 TOTAL minutes. (60 + 170 BONUS minutes)!! The phone stays charged for ...

    Good bang for you buck!!

    Excellent phone for such a low price; I just needed a basic phone to keep in the car for emergencies or in case the power went out in my home. Phone comes complete with ac charger, car charger and earbud. Has long battery life and I've had no problem getting a signal anywhere. There's also a downloadable user's manual available online.
