About this product

Product Information

Hypnotix's Outlaw series takes on a new sport with its first simultaneous release for both Xbox and PS2. As in Outlaw Golf and Outlaw Volleyball, Outlaw Tennis is designed to combine rich, realistic sports gameplay with larger-than-life characters and an auxiliary rules system that rewards actions which most good people would consider extremely poor sportsmanship. For example, characters losing a match will also lose composure, which can turn luck against them and may cause them to play even more poorly. One way to win back composure is to start a fist fight with a character on the opposing team (as in Outlaw Volleyball).

Most of these over-the-top features can be turned off, however, leaving players with a fairly straightforward tennis sim. The control scheme of Outlaw Tennis is designed to be similar to that of earlier 3D tennis games, so even players who are new to the series should find the game accessible, whether they're more interested in playing tennis or just playing as an outlaw. Available characters include many of the exaggerated and risqué favorites introduced in previous Outlaw games, along with a few newcomers. The PS2 version of Outlaw Tennis offers online multiplayer support for up to four properly equipped, Internet-connected gamers.

  • Buy it, Buy it, Buy it!!!!

Now I absolutely hate tennis but I bought this game just because Outlaw Golf 2 was great. Well if you don't know already this game is not for children. It uses sexual comments, beautiful half dressed women, and some vulgar curse words. But wow, never thought playing tennis would be so fun. You can make explossive hits and serves and even play mini-games where you sharpen your skills for the court. Different players offer different skills. Killer Miller is my favorite, powerful but slow. Graphics are great. The game also offers a bunch of different courts in alot of places. Game has a lot of charecters which you can change their clothes and shoes and get different raquets when you beat challenges. On a scale of 1 to 10. I would rate this game a 9.8

  • Need a tennis game? This is the one.

Gameplay is pretty easy to grab, you really feel in control of the ball. Plus there's ton of fun mini-games to boost the characters's stats and unlock rewards. The small cutscenes during games are fun to watch but there's so many of them at some point you just skip them or turn them off completely, this is the tennis game i've spent most time on

  • outlaw does it again

this game is awesome i love it all the fun of tennis but taken to the next level the gameplay is fast, fun, and easy to play.the off the wall characters are fun and the really cool parts when you get mad at the other player you can beat the snot out of them.there are many different ways to play you can even blow your opponents side of the court up.i highly recommend this game and all other outlaw games A++++++ 5 stars

  • Good Tennis Game for PS2

If you are looking for a fun Tennis game for PS2, look no further. This is good for single player and multi-player use alike. The gameplay is difficult, but the game keeps it interesting for those who aren't "Tennis Fans" so-to-say. For the price this is going for nowadays, this is a great buy. I play it on my PS3 since there are no tennis games out for PS3 that I particularly enjoy.

  • Great game.

Great game, good action. There's a lot of caracters, good choise of raquets and also courts. The action is non-stop with all the videos after each shot (it is possible to cut them) and makes this game funny and enjoyable. I recommend it to anyone who yould like a good game to play during some '' get together'' with friends.
