    Just found this author recently and I’ve bought most of his books. The books are so captivating that I find myself finishing them in a day and a half. I just read Badlands and the search for Lizard King and am now on Paradise Valley where they finally get him(I hope). I like how the stories and characters continue across books, so you feel like you really know them.I

    Cleaning Up the Town

    This is not a Joe Pickett novel. Nevertheless, it is entertaining and can't put it down. An outstanding interrogator was called to question a suspect that was possibly a serial killer. The interrogator had been following the suspect for 4 years and was glad to be given the chance to interrogate him. She had accepted a job in Grimstad and was impressed immediately with the Sheriff. He implied that he suspected one of his men as being corrupt. She was excited to be trusted so quickly and taken under wing. Great book and highly recommended.
