    SONY......the one and only!

    With a little investment, the PS3 can be brought back to top performance after it has aged and a little wear and tear. With a little maintenance (cleaning and dust removal) it can last a bit longer. Get it Professionally repaired when needed. (Sending it to SONY is not necessary)

    The first and still the best!

    When bluray was first introduced by Sony, I purchased a PS3 and got 10 years out of it, entirely for playing blurays for my home theater. I have not been able to find a better 1080P bluray player and it is a shame this is a discontinued model. With the purchase of this fine used model I am back in business with many nights of movie watching on bluray, plus streaming movies.

    Wanted a backup PS3 to mod. Fine but loud fan noise.

    Wanted a used PS3 to mod. Reasonably priced. Figured to upgrade the hard drive. Was able to mod, no problem. Look to either purchase a larger hard drive. Only drawback is after a short period of time, a lot of fan noise. Still, am happy with the purchase.
