    small and compact

    this knife is easy to sharpen and holds an edge well for an in-expensive blade. it is basically 440a SS. it's all you need for the occasional skinning job. I maintain my blade with lansky crock sticks and it only takes a few minutes to get the blade back to hair shaving sharp!

    Nice little knife

    I purchased this knife as a Christmas gift for a working cowboy and my better half. I did have a quick peek at the knife before I wrapped it. I was impressed with the texture and quality of both the handle and the blade itself. It seemed like a nicely put together and balanced knife for the price. I certainly didnt expect to find that good of quality at that affordable of a price. Though I am very happy that I did. Unfortunately it'll be awhile before my other half can attest to the durability of the knife and I can't judge that with just a quick peek. Thank you for a nice knife and hopefully a happy cowpoke!

    Title and pics of knife, accurate.

    For the price, a decent little knife for men's EDC, or for a boy's first knife. However....nothing like the original American-made Schrade Pro-Hunter of the past. But it's still a respectable, knockaround knife. Oh yeah....the leather sheath is OK, too.
