    I lost my gas cap that's exactly like this one my engine light came on and I ordered this one but the light still on going to take it to a mechanic and find out if there's something else wrong until I know what the problem is I can't really give you a good report like I would like until I find out why that light staying on when it should have went off signed.     06 Scion Tc

    Had this car for 10yrs. Every 2yrs or so after 4yrs owning it, the check engine light goes on and I'm thinking it's something more severe but it turns out it's because of the gas cap. Every 2+yrs it happens and I change the gas cap and it solves the problem. Cheapo fix, I'll take it!
